- Soferragens had the beginning of its activity at February 27, 1976, at Rua Pedro Fonseca, 28 A, Castelo Branco, as a company dedicated to the sale of building materials, DIY material, sanitary equipment, floors, revistimentos company , toilet accessories and similar materials.
- In 1987, pursuing a strategy of growth through the expansion of its business, the company is going to be managed amended only by the current managing partner, João Pedro Marques.
- In 2005, he inaugurated the new premises in the Industrial Area of Castelo Branco with the aim of, once again, achieving sustained growth and business expansion.
- Currently the company has property in Castelo Branco with about 7000 m2 covered area of 18200 m2 exterior which employs about 20 people and is ranked among the top 1,000 Portuguese SMEs.
